Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Potassium Fluoride Anhydrous 98% AR (CAS No. 7789-23-3) is an anhydrous ionic fluoride salt that dissociates to provide potassium and fluoride ions in compatible aqueous or polar media. Fluoride is a strong ligand for many metal centres and has distinctive interactions with silicon-containing species, while in suitable non-aqueous systems potassium fluoride can serve as a nucleophilic fluoride reagent.
The AR grade is intended for conventional analytical reagent preparation, fluoride chemistry, laboratory quality-control and analytical sample-treatment procedures where potassium fluoride is specified.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and rigorously protected from humid air to preserve the anhydrous condition of the reagent. Clean, dry dispensing practices are particularly important because absorbed water can change reagent concentration and fluoride behaviour in subsequent analytical preparations.
