Product Overview
Potassium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate Anhydrous 99.5% For HPLC (CAS No. 7778-77-0) is monobasic potassium phosphate, an inorganic phosphate salt whose dihydrogen phosphate ion participates in controllable aqueous acid–base equilibria. Because phosphate buffering can maintain defined mobile-phase pH and ionic conditions, monobasic potassium phosphate has an established role in liquid-chromatographic methods when non-volatile phosphate buffers are methodologically appropriate.
The HPLC grade is intended for chromatographic buffer and mobile-phase preparation, especially in reversed-phase and ion-pair methods that explicitly employ potassium phosphate. It is relevant where controlled phosphate concentration and pH contribute to reproducible retention or analyte ionisation state in the chromatographic system. The stated 99.5% assay is not used to infer a numerical UV absorbance, residue limit or chromatographic impurity profile.

Storage Conditions
Store tightly closed in dry, clean conditions and protect the anhydrous reagent from environmental moisture. For chromatographic use, minimise particulate, ionic and organic contamination during dispensing so that the cleanliness required for HPLC mobile-phase preparation is preserved.
