Product Overview
Potassium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate Anhydrous 99.5% AR/ACS (CAS No. 7778-77-0) is monobasic potassium orthophosphate, an amphiprotic phosphate salt that contributes both potassium ions and dihydrogen phosphate to aqueous media. The dihydrogen phosphate/hydrogen phosphate system provides useful buffering behaviour, while the salt is also a convenient defined source of orthophosphate for conventional chemical analysis.
The AR/ACS grade is positioned for classical analytical work, buffer and reagent preparation, laboratory QC and preparation of phosphate stock or working solutions where reagent-grade monopotassium phosphate is specified. Official analytical procedures use monobasic potassium phosphate in phosphate standards and reagents.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and dry to protect the anhydrous material from environmental moisture and laboratory contamination. For analytical use, use clean dispensing practices to minimise introduction of phosphate, ionic or particulate contaminants from external sources.
