Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Petroleum Ether 60-80°C Extra Pure (CAS No. 8032-32-4) is a petroleum-derived non-polar hydrocarbon solvent fraction selected for a 60-80°C boiling range. The material is compositionally variable within the defined distillation cut and must therefore be understood as a hydrocarbon mixture rather than a pure single-component solvent.
The Extra Pure grade is intended for routine extraction, reaction work-up and preparative solvent use where a somewhat less volatile petroleum fraction than the 40-60°C cut is advantageous. Its defined boiling range assists solvent selection according to evaporation rate, extraction conditions and process temperature.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and protect from evaporation, moisture and contamination. Prevent mixing with other petroleum ether fractions to preserve the specified 60-80°C boiling-range character.
