Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Oxalic Acid Dihydrate 99.5% AR/ACS (CAS No. 6153-56-6) is analytical-reagent ethanedioic acid dihydrate, H₂C₂O₄·2H₂O. Its defined dibasic-acid stoichiometry, reducing behaviour and oxalate complexation chemistry make it useful in classical volumetric, precipitation and reagent-standardisation procedures.
The AR/ACS grade is intended for conventional analytical chemistry, including acid–base titrimetry, permanganate–oxalate redox procedures and preparation of analytical oxalate solutions. It may be used in method-defined standardisation work where the procedure specifically calls for oxalic acid dihydrate.

Storage Conditions
Store tightly closed and protect from uncontrolled moisture exchange and analytical contamination. Preserve the dihydrate composition and use clean equipment during quantitative weighing and solution preparation.
