Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Hydrochloric Acid 37% Extra Pure (CAS No. 7647-01-0) is a concentrated aqueous hydrogen chloride reagent offering strong proton activity and high chloride availability for laboratory chemistry. It supports protonation, acid cleavage, chloride-salt formation and dissolution of compatible acid-reactive substances. The concentrated form is also a convenient starting material for preparing hydrochloric acid solutions of lower strength.
The Extra Pure grade is intended for general preparative chemistry, reagent formulation and laboratory processing requiring a concentrated hydrochloric acid source. Its 37% concentration is useful where reagent volume must be minimised or concentrated acidic conditions are required for synthesis, salt preparation, hydrolysis or inorganic processing.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and minimise exposure to heat and open atmosphere to limit loss of dissolved hydrogen chloride. Protect from contamination and evaporation so that the concentrated solution maintains its intended composition during storage and use.
