Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Hydrochloric Acid 35% Extra Pure (CAS No. 7647-01-0) is a high-strength aqueous hydrogen chloride solution used as a protonating and chloride-generating reagent. Its concentrated acidic character enables rapid conversion of compatible basic and inorganic materials into chloride-containing products and provides strongly acidic reaction conditions for hydrolysis, salt formation and preparative processing.
The Extra Pure grade is intended for routine synthesis support, laboratory formulation and general preparative chemistry requiring concentrated hydrochloric acid. Its 35% strength offers a convenient source for preparing a broad range of diluted working solutions and for reactions in which a substantial acid concentration is technically useful.

Storage Conditions
Store tightly closed to minimise loss of hydrogen chloride and concentration changes caused by evaporation. Protect from excessive heat and contamination and keep transfer operations brief to preserve representative solution strength.
