Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Hydrochloric Acid 35% AR (CAS No. 7647-01-0) is a concentrated aqueous acid reagent supplying hydronium and chloride ions for analytical solution chemistry. Its high acid strength supports sample dissolution, neutralisation and controlled decomposition of acid-reactive matrices, while the chloride-rich medium is important in many established inorganic analytical procedures.
The AR grade is intended for conventional analytical laboratories requiring concentrated hydrochloric acid for preparation of working solutions, wet digestion or dissolution and method-defined chloride media. The 35% concentration permits controlled dilution over a broad range of analytical strengths while maintaining analytical-reagent positioning for routine quality-control and quantitative chemical work.

Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed and protected from excessive heat to minimise hydrogen chloride loss and concentration drift. Prevent contamination during sampling and dilution, particularly when the reagent is used for blank-sensitive quantitative analysis.
