Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Dichloromethane 99.5% AR/ACS (CAS No. 75-09-2) is an analytical-reagent form of methylene chloride, a volatile chlorinated solvent with strong affinity for many non-polar and moderately polar organic substances. Its limited water miscibility, efficient phase separation and rapid solvent removal make it particularly useful in extraction, sample cleanup and extraction–concentration analysis.
The AR/ACS grade is intended for general analytical chemistry, precise reagent preparation and conventional extraction procedures requiring controlled reagent characteristics. It also supports analytical blanks and recovery work.

Storage Conditions
Keep the container tightly closed and protect from excessive heat, prolonged air and moisture exposure, evaporation and analytical contamination. Use clean dispensing equipment, minimise repeated opening and promptly reclose after sampling to preserve reagent composition, extraction performance and solvent-blank cleanliness.
