Detailed information about the product
Product Overview
Chloroform 99.5% GC (CAS No. 67-66-3) is a volatile chlorinated solvent intended for gas-chromatographic sample preparation and solvent-background control. Its volatility permits efficient transfer through suitable GC injection systems, while its solvating properties support dilution or extraction of compatible volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds.
The GC grade is intended for preparation of samples, blanks and non-certified working mixtures where chromatographically detectable solvent impurities and non-volatile contamination must be controlled.
