Ammonium Carbonate AR/ACS (CAS No. 506-87-6) is a volatile ammoniacal carbonate reagent conventionally represented as ammonium carbonate. Commercial material of this identity commonly contains ammonium bicarbonate and ammonium carbamate in variable proportions, producing ammonium and carbonate-containing species when dissolved in water.
