2-Methoxyethanol 99.5% AR/ACS (CAS No. 109-86-4) is an analytical-reagent glycol ether possessing a primary alcohol and an ether group within the same molecule. Its complete compatibility with many aqueous and organic systems enables use as an analytical solvent where both polar and moderately non-polar species must be handled in a homogeneous phase.

The AR/ACS grade is intended for conventional analytical reagent preparation, extraction, dilution and physicochemical method development.
