Product Overview
Potassium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate Anhydrous 98% Extra Pure (CAS No. 7778-77-0) is the monopotassium salt of orthophosphoric acid, containing the amphiprotic dihydrogen phosphate ion. In aqueous systems, this ion participates in phosphate acid–base equilibria and can serve as a convenient source of both potassium and orthophosphate. Its defined anhydrous identity distinguishes it from hydrated phosphate salts and from the dibasic and tribasic potassium phosphates.
The Extra Pure grade is suitable for routine laboratory preparation, buffer formulation, reaction media and general scientific work requiring monobasic potassium phosphate. The stated 98% assay is treated solely as a catalogue assay and is not used to imply a specific impurity profile, analytical-standard status or instrumental suitability.

Storage Conditions
Store in a well-closed container under dry conditions to minimise adventitious moisture uptake and contamination. Preserve the anhydrous catalogue character by avoiding prolonged exposure to humid laboratory air during weighing and dispensing.
